Working with students who are searching for a way to feel more confident and comfortable in school is my passion. Many students are not formally taught how to study or the tools needed to become more productive students. My goal is to help students become more successful while they also master learning skills that will serve them well at any stage of their education.

Whether you are bogged down by where and how to begin, how to take notes, and how to plan for projects, papers, and tests, I look forward to helping you - without judgment and wherever you are in your learning process.

Over the past 25 years, I taught high school Chemistry, worked with students at three universities, and enjoyed 12 years serving as a high school college guidance counselor. Most recently, I assisted a college access organization, which helps first generation students apply to and complete college.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Barnard College and graduate degrees in Chemistry and Higher Education Administration from Brandeis University and the University of Pennsylvania.

I enjoy spending time with my daughters and also love reading, spinning, cooking, baking, and doing anything outdoors.
